Service Description
This 'in person' Breathing & Relaxation 6 Week Course. Each session is 30mins and designed to explore the 'science' behind the breath, through various breathing exercises, discussion and some gentle movement. THIS IS A 6 WEEK COURSE STARTING ON MONDAY 28th OCTOBER UNTIL 9th DECEMBER 2024 (and not a 'drop in class) - COMMITMENT TO FULL COURSE IS REQUIRED. As part of each session we will explore the 'why' behind 'breathing well' and 'how' important it is for our overall health and wellbeing. While we often use breathing techniques in our yoga practices, this class is designed to focus on the breath in more detail and explore the 'science' behind the breath. We will practice different breathing techniques 'together' in a safe and relaxed way. I will guide you through each session, so you get to explore different techniques to find the ones that suit you, as well as work progressively through different exercises. You will also have an opportunity to ask questions, so you feel comfortable to practice these in your own time and explore some relaxation techniques to help support you in every day life. These classes are both educational and informative, as well as relaxing. The more we understand about the breath and use these exercises and techniques in our every day life, you'll start to feel and understand the benefits of breathing well. These sessions are great for things like stress relief, gaining more energy, focus, as well as relaxation and can support conditions such as asthma and sleep disorders (and many more) No experience needed but please make Amanda aware of any or health conditions by completing the 'new student health form' (if you haven't already), before these sessions, so Amanda can offer any variations if necessary. PLEASE NOTE: This 30mins session follows on from a 'Daytime Yoga Flow' before, so please arrive no earlier, which you are welcome to join, but please book ahead, or just join for the breath work. Cancellation Policy
Monthly Specials, workshops, and courses are non refundable and payment required in full up front. As a small business I ask that you respect this and politely and fairly request that you not ask for exceptions. Thank you for your attention and understanding. If in the case you cannot attend, please cancel your booking online, or if unable to do so via system, please let Amanda know somehow that you will not be attending so we are not waiting for you (alot of time and effort goes into preparing the sessions and space for the numbers attending). Courses By purchasing a course (set number of weeks) you agree that you are responsible for making yourself available for the course dates and no refunds are provided due to not being able to attend 1 or more of the sessions booked onto. Exceptions Only in the event that a monthly special, course or workshop is cancelled in full or is unable to continue will any refunds be issued. This is a strictly no refund policy. So if there is one week you are unable to attend no discounts will be given as full attendance is required (espeically for courses). Late bookings for workshops may be accepted up to 3hrs before, then booking system will be closed, allowing the teacher time to plan and set up for the session for the numbers booked on. Due to some sessions requiring equipment, multiple actives and sometimes refreshments (this will be highlighted if part of event so dietary requirements that may need to be considered are arranged in advance)
